Is it not weird how our society makes it look like a single woman in her thirties is an expired good with no value? While this view is no longer much of a mainstream idea, we can’t deny that in some parts of the country and somehow underneath everything, women still fear clocking 30 because of it.
Understand one thing, meeting and marrying the love of your life is one of the best things that could happen to anyone. But what if you are not lucky? Would you go for mediocre just to answer Missus? Or would you hold your head strong and continue on your purpose while you wait?

Make money: Thirties are the optimal age for productivity and so you should take advantage of it. Instead of wallowing in despair, it is the time to create the future that you desire and for your kids should you want to have them outside marriage. Having money will solve most of the problems you will face. So get that promotion that can increase your salary, build a business and invest your money
Travel: You can only be miserable if you are at home bemoaning your fate. Being a single woman in your thirties is an opportunity to see the world and explore. The world is so vast and there are so many opportunities out there that will widen your perspective, help me meet new people, learn different cultures etc. That itself can help you find the one or help decide if you don’t want one.
Take care of your body: Imagine if you are in your thirties and you are looking like a 20-year-old. That’s what caring for your body does. Exercise, eat healthily, avoid alcohol, and avoid situations that stress you. These activities help you recognize yourself as that fine babe you have always been and help remain in love with yourself.
Develop yourself professionally: You need money and lots of it to increase your earning power, it will be better to learn new skills. You can focus on signing up for a course or getting an extra degree or certification. And the good news to all of this is that there’s no one stopping you. You own your time and life. So you can be more.
Treat Yourself: You work too much for your money as a single woman not to enjoy it. If you can pay for your life, remember to splurge on yourself and buy yourself nice stuff. Buy that house, that nice car, those form-fitting clothes, accessories and jewellery. A high-value man will never be intimidated.

Hobby: There are no kids yet taking your time and no husband yet. So what do you do with all your free time especially when you close from work? That’s what a hobby does. Find something you enjoy doing and do it wholly. You’ve always wanted to dance? Learn it. You like to paint? Get art supplies. You like music, immerse yourself in it.
Live: Your life started the day you were born. You only become more aware of it as you get older. Don’t keep waiting as if life happens at a different time. You are living already. Get on with it, have fun, make friends. Enjoy your life, there’s no other magic waiting to happen. You are the magic already.
