The recently concluded Us presidential election is casting some shadows on the life of some celebrities including Rihanna. Recall that the elections ended with Donald Trump emerging the winner and is the 47th President of the United States of America.
This is against his opponent Kamala Harris who not only enjoyed popularity but also the endorsement of many celebrities such as Beyonce, Barack and Michelle Obama, Kelly Rowland, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez etc.
Even Rihanna endorsed Kamala Harris but couldn’t vote. Thats because of her defiant act. Unlike several other celebrities who are from other countries who changed their citizenship to become Americans, the mother of two refused to change hers.
Her reason is that she is only in America to work and pay her taxes. But that she would never change her citizenship for that. The consequence is that she cannot vote during elections. The singer’s native country is Barbados and she cherishes her heritage.

Although Rihanna permanently lives in the United States, she, her partner A$Ap Rocky and their two kids visit her native country often. She visited during the last trimester of her second pregnancy and this year for the crop-over festival.
At the Crop over festive, she was spotted hanging out with Nigerian Afribeats sensation, Ayra Starr clad in festival apparel. After the festival, she and A$Ap Rocky were photographed enjoying some timeout in the sun aboard a yacht.
