Rihanna’s ex Chris Brown may have physically abused her during their relationship that’s all it was. Until Warner Bros aired their documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” in October on their Investigation Discovery channel. TBN finds it worth noting that the woman responsible for it has remained anonymous.
The documentary details years of allegations of domestic violence, assault and sexual misconduct. Recall that In 2009, the rapper pleaded guilty to physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. He had assaulted her whilst in the car to which he pleaded guilty to assault.
Following the Warner Bros documentary, Chris Brown claimed that the documents negatively impacted his reputation and career which he had worked hard to rebuild after the Rihanna assault case. Now, the rapper has sued Warner Bros for $500 million.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six the pop started accused the producers behind the Investigation Discovery docuseries Chris Brown: A History of Violence “of libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress through defamatory claims made against him.” The rationale behind the suit is that the female producer has remained anonymous.
Therefore, the claims cannot be verified. Chris Brown vows to donate a portion of the $500 million to sexual abuse victims if he wins. Reacting to the lawsuit, several social media users commented about the time of his and Rihanna’s case. One write, “I know someone that more or less said that Rihanna had hit him too therefore he was justified in doing what he did.”
Another wrote, “My attitude is very simple. If someone is the type to try to goad me to a confrontation then I will walk away and be done with that person. But I guess she is not the type of person. Still, he obviously shouldn’t have beat her.” A third person added, “Not surprised. I told a story on Reddit about how I was attacked by a woman and all the incels comments were about how I should’ve beaten the shit out of her. I didn’t hurt her at all even though she had a knife. I just snatched her ice out of her hand.”
