To many Kanye West is a genius with his creativity and to others, he is disturbed. But the latest unveiling of the plan of his dream DROAM City on Instagram has both fans and critics reeling. And more so questioning his real artistic tastes.

According to the Instagram post shared on Sunday, the city will be located in the Middle East. And like the architect and master planner he is, the rapper and his beloved will control its form, function and use. Although, Kanye did not reveal where the city will be located, he did tweet about a futuristic city self-sustaining city in the Middle East.

Listing the features of Droam City, the tweet which features developing 100,000-acres may have been for futuristic city and will be twice the size of New York City. Recall that following the burial of Liam Payne, Zayn Malik paid a solo tribute to the late pop star during his performance. Now, fans are interested to see what the tribute would look like if it came to fruition. Perhaps It could be a video of them saying a few words together, individually.

The real status of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s relationship has been a popular topic of speculation. And the pretrial hearing on Wednesday, January 15 provided an opportunity for the couple to clarify the nature of their relationship.

Apparently, the judge is trying to figure out if there is any spousal privilege – meaning spouses cannot be forced to testify against each other. During the pretrial hearing, the presiding judge asked A$Ap Rocky’s attorney how he should refer to Rihanna during the case. The question reads, “Is it his girlfriend or his wife?”

In response to the judge’s question on the true nature of A$Ap Rocky and Rihanna’s Relationship, his lawyer noted that, explained that Rihanna is A$Ap Rocky’s “common law wife… or just ‘wife.’ However one of the prosecutors noted, “They’re not legally married [so] we’d prefer that she not be referred to as his wife, and she’s just referred to as his significant other or [the mother of his children].”

Simply put, Rihanna and the rapper are not married and therefore, she will not be referred to as his wife. The couple first sparked marital rumours after a music video for “D.M.B. where she appears as a bride in red at the end of the video, while A$AP Rocky wears gold grills that spell out “MARRY ME?”

Another rumour erupted yet again following his performance at Cannes in June 2023 when he referred to the singer as his “wife.” Again, in his song “Riot”, released in July 2023, the rapper had a line of lyric which reads, “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic”. Finally, during Christmas, Rihanna said she has “wifehood-ish” holiday plans.

The confirmation of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s relationship comes after A$Ap reiterated that he didn’t shoot victim, A$AP Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron. And that the rapper only wants to extort money from him. The hearing is still pretrial but the case is headed to trial.

The shooting incident occurred in April 2022 and Rocky was charged for assault with a deadly weapon. Terell reported that A$Ap Rocky intentionally fired multiple shots at him and that he was injured by bullet fragments. Marriage may not be mandatory, but it can grant legal rights like tax breaks, inheritance rights, medical decision-making authority, and immigration privileges.

Again, legally it still holds a lot of weight. Who knows if this will spur Rihanna and A$Ap Rocky into getting married?
