Gigi Hadid has just switched her blonde hairstyle to a fun and new hairstyle for her recent Paris Fashion Week event. The girlfriend of Bradley cooper was at the inaugural Le Grand Dîner du Louvre with a date that is not the actor whom she has been romancing for over two years now.
Joining her on the outing is the former Moschino director and designer Jeremy Scott – in celebration the museum’s Louvre Couture exhibition. While her dress speaks for itself and is absolutely divine, the star had another fashion arsenal at her disposal that tied up her outfit.
In stead of her signature blonde hair, she opted for a new hairstyle featuring a silver bob with ample root shadow. The hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos who helped her achieve this look named the colour, a “silver tequila.” The hairstylist also told Vogue, that he, “gave her some roots for dimension, and made the colour look more edgy.”
Adding that he combined Marilyn Monroe and Linda Evangelista’s haircut to achieve the new hairstyle. In his words, “For the cut, I wanted to combine classic Marilyn Monroe with a very modern and rebellious touch-with some Linda Evangelista in the ‘gOs.”! And then Gigi Hadid stepped out in a divine dress to complement her hair.
The dress is a glittering yellow and silver beaded sequined gown with a sweetheart neckline and a single off-the-shoulder sleeve. The dress was a creation from Jeremy Scott and he shared the creative background behind it on Instagram. He revealed that the model’s gown was crafted from three previous pieces from his personal archives to suit her new hairstyle.
“Entering the majestic Louvre with my muse and friend @gigihadid for le grand diner du Louvre!” he captioned a video of him and Hadid posing for photos on their way into the event. He added, “I created this custom gown for Gigi out of 3 beaded gowns I had previously designed that were in my archives with the precision of my darling @laurabasci. “
