One of the things I did was meditation. I’d like to sit still with soft music every morning for 30 minutes focusing on myself and the aspects of me, I want to change. I take stock of the things I want to work on and make mental assessments on how to be better. It helped me grow so much and mature in general.

One of the things I did wrong was assuming the journey would be linear. And so oftentimes, I thought I was falling back to old patterns because I was angrier, less tolerant, more sensitive to people’s problematic qualities, lonely and impatient etc. Now, I’m learning to accept that it’s part of the journey and I’m seeing people for who they are, rather than projecting my expectations and that can be difficult, incredibly disappointing and painful, and comes with loss.

It is nice to see changes in my physique it makes me feel better.

It’s not good for you at all. Sometimes it is best to move on and take the time to heal and love yourself even more.
