Scammed? Fan Reviews Kim Kardashian’s Skims Shapewear Amid Her New Mysterious Romance
Kim Kardashian’s Skims shapewear is under review following the launch of her flagship store in Los Angeles on Saturday. The reality TV star’s $4 billion shapewear brand is said to be revolutionary in putting women in their best shapes just like Spanx. But is this analogy correct?
The latest flagship store is located on 5th Avenue in New York City and the star was spotted at the event balancing on a scooter due to her leg injury. Now, a fan has reviewed her Skims shapewear and the comments are not nice or encouraging in the least.

According to the critic, Kim Kardashian’s Skims shapewear, “isn’t good. Compression is not at the level. It’s not tight. Spanx is way better at holding everything in and up.” “I don’t get it. I’ve only tried the shapewear but it was nowhere as good with the compression as Spanx is. Even the Nordstrom associates thought Spanx shapewear is so much better than skims shapewear,” the fan stated.
The critic further noted, “Why does everyone say the skims shapewear is amazing at compression? Is it just marketing? I appreciate the color and size variety but the compression? Not at the level for me. I’ve heard the skims undies and bras are super comfortable I don’t doubt that!”
“Also – why isn’t Skims called out as a fast fashion brand? And the latest marketing campaign for the lazy-designed skims x North Face feels like a Yeezy campaign. What am I missing? I have respect for Kim as a businesswoman but are we all being scammed?” the critic finished.
The critic may think Kim Kardashian’s Skims Shapewear is not good enough but several people have testified how great it is. Recall that one fan noted in 2023 that the shapewear saved her life when she was shot at and the Kardashian star responded.
Reactions to the review saw a fan writing, “It was amazing to me not gonna lie. I splurged on a Colombian faja that worked but would slip down. Then I got the skim bodysuit & it snatched me like never begy. It also made my butt look so good.” Other comments on the review equally confirmed that the shapewear is great.
