Wicked Movie Lover Reveals Sibling’s Shocking Impression Of Ariana Grande And Cynthia Erivo
Wicked movie was released in the United States on November 22 featuring Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo As Elphaba. Since then, the movie has garnered several comments and ratings online as being phenomenal and interesting.
However, one comment has stood out. That is the relationship between the two stars, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The two stars showed an incredible connection and chemistry both in the movie and during their promotion interviews creating rumours about the real status of their relationship.
Now a Wicked movie lover has revealed her younger siblings’ impression of the duo in the movie which might have progressed things chemistry-wise. Per the movie lover, “Last night I was watching Wicked at home with my two 15-year-old sisters who are twins. This was the first time they’d seen it and we’d just gotten to the part where Glinda jumps on the train when suddenly one of them pauses the movie and goes I have a question.”
“The other twin turns to me and says “Glinda and Elphaba … they’re gay right?” And the first twin just goes “yeah that, that was my question. I couldn’t help but laugh.” Interestingly, Elphaba and Glinda were giving gay vibes in some scenes such as when they were sharing looks during the “Popular” scene on the bed and “What Is This Feeling.”
This is weird considering that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s characters in the Wicked Movie are the most oblivious when it comes to relationships. But, there is also the fact that they clocked Gelphie almost immediately. To answer the question, both are not gays in the movie except for Cynthia in real life.
Rather in the movie, Glinda and Elphaba are two best friends and roommates but movie watchers want them to be more than that. The plot of Wicked explores the friendship between Elphaba, a green-skinned outcast, and Galinda, a blonde and popular girl who met Shiz University to study magic.
Somehow they become roommates when Elphaba finds out the Wizard of Oz is a fraud and fights against his corruption. Unfortunately, things went haywire with Elphaba’s actions leading to her being labeled the Wicked Witch of the West, while Glinda becomes Glinda the Good.
