Alleged Proofs That Ben Affleck And Matt Damon’s Friendship May Not Be Innocent After All
Following the breakup and divorce with Jennifer Lopez, attention has been cast towards Ben Affleck And Matt Damon’s Friendship. The Accountant’s actor has kept many relationships for several years and still broke up with them except for one partner.
That partner has been his friend Matt Damon whom a fan hilariously noted to have been Ben Affleck’s most stable relationship outside of his mom and brother. The implication is that his friendship has outlived all his relationships with women including his two ex-wives, Lopez and Garner.

Now, in a Reddit subgroup, a fan has shared clippings of the time of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s friendship hinting that the duo has something going on between them. Or at least, that Ben is secretly in love with Matt or perhaps they both know it. Apart from the fact that the duo were considered for gay couple’s roles, the duo’s behaviour signifies something is fishy.
First, during the La La Land/Moonlight Oscars Incident in 2017, instead of focusing on the incident on stage, Ben Affleck was photographed looking at Matt Damon. Matt was also photoed several times not wearing his wedding ring again during a visit to Ben’s house. Ben also surprised Matt at the 2024 #GoldenGlobes as if he was surprising a partner.
Another clue that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s friendship may not be innocent after all stems from their early years. The duo made the media go viral by wearing matching puka necklaces when they were aged aged 16 and 15. Again at the 70th Academy Awards 1998, Matt and Ben shared a kiss with their awards.
Again, they both shared a bank account for years before their “Good Will Hunting” Oscar Win. Affleck noted “It was like, You’re not going to be alone. I’m not going to be alone. Let’s go out there and do this together.” Ben has also referred to Matt as his partner in every sense as if he was the real partner.
