It is safe to assume that Miley Cyrus and all her siblings have closed the door on their father, Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley on her part has not spoken to her dad in years and didn’t attend his wedding to now ex-wife Fire Rose whom he wedded in 2023 but attended her mother’s wedding to Dominic Purcell.
Recall that the wedding was equally a source of controversy between their mother Tish and sister, Noah Cyrus who was pissed that her mom married her ex. But somehow, the kids and their mother have maintained a relationship despite her behaviour. Perhaps it’s because she is not as bad as their dad that they still relate to her.

On Thursday, Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ older brother, shared an Instagram post, pleading for help on behalf of their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. Apparently, he had watched their dad’s performance at President Trump’s post-inauguration Liberty Ball and was saddened by his state of mind.

Part of the plea read, “Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.” Adding “Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.”
The message to their father, Billy Ray Cyrus ended with him asking the Grammy Award winner to get help before it was too late. Billy has gone through quite a lot in the last few years. Apart from the fact that he and Miley have been estranged for years, it’s sad to see that’s seemingly also the case with the rest of his kids now.
There was even audio of him shouting at his very young ex-wife, FireRose and then calling Miley a devil skank. He and his pop star daughter allegedly fell out before he married FireRose who was also their Hannah Montana co-star. But the marriage was what doomed their relationship.
Although the Billy Ray Cyrus family feud did not include their mother Tish, social media users insist that she sucked. One wrote, “Tish was a Billy Ray Cyrus groupy. He got another woman pregnant at around the same time as Tish. She’s very liberal when it comes to sex and didn’t realize how fcked up sleeping with your daughter’s ex is. Especially since it sounds like it was just a friend’s benefits situation for Noah.”
“They weren’t an item. At any rate, Noah has forgiven her since they were photoed together.”
