
Alleged Rumour That One Direction To Pay Tribute To Liam Payne At The BRIT Awards
Following Liam Payne’s untimely death and burial in 2024, There’s a rumour that his former bandmates, One Direction will pay a joint tribute to him. Yeah, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Lous Tomlinson and Niall Horan are slated do so at this year’s BRIT Awards.
Recall that following the burial of Liam Payne, Zayn Malik paid a solo tribute to the late pop star during his performance. Now, fans are interested to see what the tribute would look like if it came to fruition. Perhaps It could be a video of them saying a few words together, individually.
Or even a montage of their One Direction years with Liam Payne starting from the moment they were picked out together. Already, the date for the Brit Awards have been announced and is slated to be held on March 1 at London’s O2 arena. And already, nominations will be announced in the coming weeks.
Apart from the nominations, performers at the event will be announced and perhaps the One Direction members will be among them. The Brits Awards ceremony will also be broadcast live on ITV 1 and streaming service ITV X. While the tribute if it happens will be an honour, it will still be sadder if it happens.
Recall that Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horam and Louis Tomlinson cut sad figures in black suits during his burial in England. And fans have mixed reactions to the rumours of the tribute. One fan commented, “I have mixed feelings about rumours like this. If it’s true, that would be nice, but if it’s not, I wish the media would just let the boys grieve.”

A second fan added, “I miss them together so much. The Brit Award Ceremony has also announced its host for the ceremony with Comedian Jack Whitehall returning to the role. He had previously hosted the awards show in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
