It is safe to say that Rihanna has closed her music career for 9 years now following her last album Anti. And her latest tweet and Instagram post celebrating ANTI’s 9th anniversary may be bitter sweet considering its serving as as a good bye message to her music career.
The post reads, “happy anniversary to the last album I ever made. In the post shared to Instagram on Tuesday, the pop star and business mogul had clips from all music videos of Anti. While Rihanna seems to have quit music, she did make a brief appearance musically in 2022.

The singer had sang Lift Me Up in Black Panther Part Two to commemorate the passing of Chadwick Boseman’s character in the movie. The burial scene came after he died of cancer after months of battling the dreaded illness.
In response to Rihanna quitting music, a fan made an uncanny suggestion. “We need to boycott everything Rihanna has created that isn’t music so we can push her into making it, we need to bully her too,” the fan wrote in the comment section insinuating that bullying her is the only way to get her back in the game.
An insider also confirmed that Rihanna has bid goodbye to music. Per the insider, “Rihanna had an intention to release more music but that’s no longer the case. She is overwhelmed with her kids and thriving business and will no longer fulfil her promise to fans.”
