Khloé Kardashian Reveals How Relationship With Tristan Thompson Is Affecting Kids
Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan Thompson may be over but that’s not what her kids think. And she is not really thinking about correcting the impression of the 6 years old at least not yet. The “Good American” founder revealed on Thursday’s episode of the showthat True thinks they are married.
Usually, she is expected to correct the 6-year-old because its an impression of age but she is choosing not to. And her reason as told to her bestie Malika Haqq is that it’s the “right thing to do” for now. The Kardashian star shares two kids True and Tatum Thompson with basketball ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Recall that Khloe Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan started in 2016 with him cheating on her repeatedly. He even fathered a child with another woman while a surrogate was pregnant with Tatum. He also kissed Kylie Jenner’s bestfriend, Jordyn Woods. After forgiving him several times, Khloe left him after he secretly fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.
Despite all, she has maintained a close relationship with him except she won’t take him back. But now, Khloe is letting her daughter think they are married but live separately to teach her something. “That’s what I wanna teach her,” “including that it is okay to “Get married, have kids.” However, she will definitely clear the air when she gets older.
Talking to Malika Haqq, she clarified that its not okay to have them involved in her relationship with their father. “Right now, I believe you do things for your kids because kids should not be involved in adult problems.” But the downside to Khloe Kardashian relationship with Tristan is that the kids will think “This is what a marriage is.”

In her words, she thinks her kids may grow up believing, “Oh, you’re married to someone and they don’t live with you. And you never have to kiss them or you don’t sleep in the same bed together.” Adding, “I would love for them to see love and affection and romance. I do want them to have that.”
To further push that narrative, she further told Haqq that she’s not dating. “I’m doing things, but I’m not on Hinge, I’m not on Raya.” “I don’t want anyone stopping my routine,” she explained in the June 2024 episode. “I’m in my rhythm.”
