Matt Damon Joins Alleged Love Of His Life Ben Affleck At World Premiere of The Accountant 2 At 2025 SXSW
Following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunited at the world premiere of The Accountant 2 in 2025 SXSW. The idea of reuniting is laughable considering the duo were likely at each other’s houses before the event. Photos from the event shows Ben smiling which he rarely does.
This triggered fans to speculate on the true nature of their relationship. One noted, “Only time you catch Ben smiling is when he’s with his soulmate ( Matt Damon).” Another termed Matt as “Ben’s most successful relationship.” A third added, “Matt’s life seems stable outside of Ben whereas Ben’s only stable relationship is Matt.”

And indeed, there are several evidence that show Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s relationship may not be innocent after all. Still, Matt was pictured beside Affleck to support his Accountant 2 movie premiere at the 2025 SXSW. According to eye witnesses, Matt arrived solo at the Paramount Theatre event in Austin, Texas.
He arrived in a black SUV a few minutes before Ben Affleck did in a Ford truck. For the event, Ben rocked a two-piece suit made of a jacket, a pair of pants, white button-down shirt and a stripped tie. He layered a jacket on top of his suit due to the chilly weather. Joining him on the red carpet was Matt Damon who dressed in a black shirt and pants.
Ben Affleck also spoke to people about his friendship with Matt at the world premiere of The Accountant 2. “It’s a beautiful thing. You know, I don’t have very many friends. None of us really have very many friends,” he told People. This clears up the insinuation that both actors are gay.
And that they are secretly dating. The latest report comes after photos of him and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner getting cosy came out. The actor was photographed holding Garner’s waist at paintball outing sparking rumours they are getting back together. However, it was later reported that the mother of three is not keen on it.
