Miley Cyrus's Father Billy Ray Cyrus Will Sue His Son Trace Cyrus For The Instagram Post
On Thursday, Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ older brother, shared an Instagram post, asking their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus to get help due to his unkempt look and addiction issues. Apparently, he had watched their dad’s performance at President Trump’s post-inauguration Liberty Ball and was saddened by his state of mind.
In a new Instagram post, the popstar revealed the shocking surprise he got from his father for asking him to get help in an Instagram story shared on Saturday. Instead of the warmth he hoped for from the plea, he got a rude shocking response that had him calling in Jesus.
Interestingly, Billy Ray Cyrus has gone incorrigible in responding to his son Trace Cyrus through another family member. Per the photo shared on Instagram story, the Grammy Awards winner is planning legal action against his son. “Jesus is my booster” Ohhhh the irony,” the caption started.
Adding, “For all of you wondering no I still haven’t heard from my dad. He did contact a family member to let me know he’s taking legal action against me for encouraging him to get help. Dad, I live 30 minutes away from you. You could’ve just come & talked to me like a man,” the caption ended.
In response to his posts, fans posit that he should start mourning his father. A commenter wrote, “When people change enough, sometimes it’s healthy to start the mourning process for the person you loved. I don’t know that Billy Ray still loves Trace at all, so it might be for the best he’s starting to mourn his father now… But it is sad as hell.”
Another fan counselled, “I’m in the same place as Trace Cyrus with my mom and what his father would think of him. Be assured, such a suggestion to get help will send him into a blind fucking rage.” A third commenter revealed how much his daughter Miley detests him despite being a daddy’s girl at a young age.

“I’m assuming it’s the same “pappy” who Miley Cyrus wrote in “I Miss You”. They were all extremely close and Trace said that has to be a gut punch. In “Miles To Go”, it was extremely apparent how much of an impact her “pappy” made on Miley’s life. Miley was also known for being a “daddy’s girl” and (allegedly) closer to her father than Trish,” the comment reads.
Finishing with, “Looks like he’s deep into alcohol addiction. Likely something he’s struggled with for a long time but now it’s amplified. Especially with Trish remarrying.”
