Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to lose their $14 million home in Montecito, California if the Los Angeles fires continues to rage on. Already, there are talks of evacuating the area, the royals are currently living in as well as removing power to avoid continuous onslaught by the fire.
While the fire has been blazing, a new blaze exploded in the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday night causing the death of five people with several people injured. Over 1,000 structures including homes, business offices and others lay in pilages. Over more than 150,000 people were evacuated.
Now, New updates has filtred in that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle whose home is in Montecito will be evacuating soon. So far, the area has faced power outages and other anomalies that are enough to cause evacuations if the wildfire spreads.
Already, a Southern California Edison spokesman revealed to the media outlet, the telegraph that it was considering power shutdowns. Particularly because power is, “a Red Flag Warning and increased risk of wildfires.” The spokesperson noted that they were already contacting “affected customers.”
The customers include Montecito, the area where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live with their two children. California governor’s office is doing all they can to contain the wildfire. Some of their efforts include, over 7,500 personnel are taking part in the firefighting efforts, 1,162 fire engines deployed and 31 helicopters and six water-tanker aircraft.
There are also 23 water tender support vehicles working to keep fire engines and firefighters supplied and 53 mechanical bulldozers participating. The Los Angeles fire report about the Sussexes comes after the release of Meghan’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.
