Prince Harry has only seen his father once this year and that’s after his cancer diagnosis early this year. Since then he has not seen his father but that’s because Queen Camilla is vehemently against the idea.
Although the estranged prince lives outside the United Kingdom, he has been to the country several times. He was in the UK for the Invictus game, at the burial of his uncle and over the weekend when he attended a charity event for the 2024 WellChild Awards.
Joining him at the charity event is his brother and heir to the throne, Prince William but typical to them, they steered clear of each other. Royal experts have noted that King Charles intends to see Prince Harry but his Wife Queen Camilla was against it.
Per the Daily Beast, she didn’t want the aiming monarch to be stressed and perhaps because she has no love lost to the spare. As reported by the outlet, “She has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy. The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”
The second alleged reason has something to do with the fact the prince detested Queen Camilla and her relationship with his father. He is still not over the wretched way they both treated his mother Princess Diana. And he refused to have his kids call her grandmother.

On that, he and Prince William have agreed. On the other hand, King Charles’s friend has further revealed to the Daily Beast that he is more than willing to reconcile although his son is proving too hard-headed. Our source told us that,” Prince Harry has been extending the forgiveness but they all slighted him. He wants them to come for it themselves. “
For King Charles, his motive for reconciliation is tied to his being a Christian and the king. “The king has an instinctive impulse towards Christian reconciliation, and his cancer diagnosis has only sharpened that,” the friend said. “He wants this settled, not just because he loves both his sons, but because it has been so destabilizing for the monarchy.”
