A clip by Baron Corbin after meeting Taylor Swift, described her as someone who is nice and embracing. Likewise, several people who met her have called her nice. But unfortunately, after constantly singing about forever love (Love Story; End Game; Forever & Always; Lover), how come after 16+ relationships (13 confirmed by Entertainment Tonight) she hasn’t found a soul mate yet?
And yet again, the media is describing her relationship with Travis Kelce as a forever relationship as well. The question is why Tayvis? And why do people assume they’ll be together forever based on her previous patterns? Why assume Taylor will get married and stay married forever when she has only had 3 relationships that lasted over a year?

And Taylor Swift allegedly left her long time partner of 6 years, Joe Alwyn because “her boredom was bone deep?” From the look of it, it appears that the popstar sucks at commitment despite singing about love but why it is so? One reason is that the singer is one of the people who just loves the idea of love and would end it after the relationship lost its sparks.
And then hints in her songs and few interviews that she has dumped the ex when she was the one dumped. At least, Joe Jonas, Jake G, Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy to name were the ones who didn’t want to move forward, and dumped her. But for the rest it seems like it was mutual except for Tom Hiddleston who seems like the only guy it seems she dumped.
Another reason to believe Taylor Swift is bad at relationships is that she is exploiting her romance for her career and cementing the victim narrative she has had in her entire career. Being dumped isn’t something to make fun of, but if it happens in every relationship, you must do some self reflection and ask whether you’re a good partner?
On her end, she always seems to always think others are in the wrong which is a typical characteristic of immaturity and narcissism. While she did show signs of maturity and acceptance of her mistakes while with Joe, she’s gone back to her old petty and childish ways with Matty Healy. The traits of her character, like insecurity, narcissism, greediness, immaturity, obsession with attention, etc. are the main reasons why her relationships don’t last, and seemingly most of them don’t seem meaningful.
Another reason is that most of the relationship usually starts strictly for PR purposes and perhaps blossom into love afterwards. Even at that, Taylor Swift has several things working against her in the relationship department with her being unusually busy. It would be hard to make a relationship work when you are being pulled in a million directions. One have to prioritize the relationship to make it work, and it appears that she’s prioritizing her career.
Her choice of partners may also have contributed to that as well considering she has “dated” a bunch of very busy men (actors, musicians and now professional athlete) with schedules that are very likely in frequent conflict with hers. It would be a hard thing to balance if one or both people weren’t willing to give up a piece of their career in concession to make the relationship work.
Finally, Taylor Swift is bad at relationships because of the the scrutiny by the general public and media. Given how broad her fanbase is and how invested they are in her life and love life… how they are constantly creating very high expectations for her (like the fan-fic narrative they have about her: she’s getting married, how her partner is gonna propose and when, she’s building a nursery, this is her “end game” etc.), most men would RUN.
That’s an unnecessary level of pressure on any couple. Yes, she’s invited that, but the fact still stands that public figures have a very difficult time withstanding the outside pressures pl on their relationships. And the pressures are exponentially higher on her (and therefore her relationships) given the size of her fanbase and intensity will definitely fizzle out.
