Beets: Several people only remember beets when they want to add a pop of colour to their foods. However, beats are perfect for controlling hypertension. With its nitrates content, it is suitable for enhancing blood flow when converted into nitric oxide. You can add them to your diet by juicing, blending them into smoothies, salads and soups.

Leafy greens: leafy greens are part of the versatile foods that can lower blood pressure. And they are far easier to incorporate into your diet. Leafy greens contain potassium that helps the body balance sodium in the body. Leafy greens can be used in smoothies, salads, soups, stews, etc.
