Reason Brad Pitt Finally Agrees To Settle 8 Years-Long Divorce Case With Angelina Jolie
The shocking news of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt settling 8-year-long divorce filtered in on December 31st. Prior to that, the couple had long been dragging their official separation proceedings by fighting for their jointly owned winery and custody of their children.
The fight went on till most of the kids turned 18 and the fight shifted to the winery. What was the bone of contention? The actress had sold her share of the winery to a billionaire without her ex-husband’s approval. And the result was a long lawsuit that dragged out their divorce.
Now, news has filtered in that there is a reason behind the sudden decision for Brad Pitt to finalise the divorce. And that reason is Brad Pitt’s 31-year-old girlfriend, Ines De Ramon whose relationship with is getting stronger. According to Page Six, she wanted him to move on with him without the ghost of the past trailing behind them.
Apparently, Ines de Ramon wanted them to focus on their future. Their source noted that Brad was influenced by Ines to finally settle.” “Ines wants to have a life together with possibly children in the future — without the albatross that was the eight-year War of the Roses,” adding, “She has made [it known that] her opinion is that life would be much more enjoyable with this settled.”
Although Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finalized their divorce, it is sadly not the end of their Winery battle. However, it is safe to assume that the custody battle of their non-adult children may have been resolved. A look into the divorce shows that no one would want to be in the middle of such.
But it also seems that the former couple who were declared single in 2019 were eager to be done with their divorce. It was reported that they were so enthusiastic to sign the papers. Particularly as they have both moved on with different partners and are very happy to do so.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 following a plane ride incident where Brad Pitt abused her and the kids. The divorce has dragged on for years and it seemed like both were exhausted, signing the divorce papers is a welcome development for both.
