Justin Bieber is on an unfollowing spree as he purges his circle of many friends. In a recent report, the star who keeps teasing his JB7 album has unfollowed longtime friend/mentor Usher on Instagram but didn’t block him as Usher still follows him.
Recall that Usher has faced backlash for introducing young Justin as a teenager to Sean Diddy Combs. Perhaps the star had no bad intention except to help the young talent grow but things spiralled out of control. And soon enough, he was introduced to a bad lifestyle and wild parties by Diddy.
It has been further alleged that Justin Bieber was abused by Sean Diddy Combs following his arrest and detention for sexually related offences. Now, that he has unfollowed Usher, an insider told TBN that the father of one is working to relaunch his career and he didn’t want to be associated with those who harmed him.
Per our insider, “Justin blocked Scooter so it only makes sense to cut ties with Usher as well. Both of them controlled his career and it appears that something is brewing. Justin does not look like he’s going to spare anyone he feels wronged him.” Adding, “ This is good for him. He is now his person.”
“No one should have authority over him and his life. He’s trying to get away from people that were not the best for him. He dealt with a lot in the industry.” The latest report comes after Justin Bieber also unfollowed his former manager Scooter Braun on Jan. 4 on Instagram.
The duo were together from 2008, when Scooter Braun started managing him after discovering him but along the line, he was signed to a label owned by Usher and Sean Diddy Combs. That could be the beginning of his struggle with fans while his relationship with Scooter deteriorated in 2023.
Justin Bieber and a string of artists finally left his management in 2024 resulting in his retirement. Scooter Braun is also associated with the issues, members of the One Direction band are facing while navigating their solo careers. Rumours had it, that they were exploited by the manager just like Justin.
