
Reason Kim Kardashian Avoided Ex Pete Davidson At SNL 50th Anniversary
While Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson reunited at “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary special Sunday night, they were not pictured together at all. Recall that the duo were together after she separated from her ex-husband, Kanye West in 2021.
Her relationship with the actor came as a shocking surprise and it also further kicked up after a SNL appearance. In that episode, they kissed and Kim recalled liking that kiss so much that she asked for his number after and messaged him. And then kicked off their relationship which drove Kanye West to madness.
Months after Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson relationship fizzled out and they have never been spotted together until the SNL 50 anniversary. The duo also attended a a star-studded afterparty at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Media outlet Page Six reported that they had a conversation at the afterparty but weren’t pictured together.
How possible is it to chat with someone without being seen together? A source close to Kim clarified that the duo were not seen together. In fact, the Skims founder made it her duty to avoid being in close proximity to him. Besides other stars such as Alec Baldwin, Sabrina Carpenter and Steve Martin were at the afterparty as well.
Now, an insider told TBN why Kim specifically avoided Pete Davidson. “Pete was a reminder of the dark times in her past after the Kanye divorce. She wishes she could erase that part of the past. She wants to try to live without the shadow of who she was at the time and Pete reminds her of that.”
While they did not talk, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson did dress their best for the SNL 50th anniversary party. Kim looked glamorous in floor-length silver metallic dress while Pete for two piece suit look. Both also returned to “SNL” and acted with Pete reprising his role as Chad and acted in a pre-recorded skit with “SNL” original cast member Laraine Newman.
