Kanye West has gained considerably backlash for wild partying with his wife Bianca Censori in Dubai and Maldives for her birthday amid Los Angeles Fires. And while his ex wife Kim Kardashian and their four children was evacuated from her mansion in Calabasas, California last week.
Is something chasing him away from the United States considering his months-long absence since 2023? Even his latest action of not flying home to be with his kids after the evacuation is raising eyebrows among fans and media outlets.

After the Los Angeles fires evacuation, Kanye West was spotted in Japan at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Tokyo’s Ginza district having an alone time with his three kids on Tuesday. The rapper and his kids including Saint, Chicago, and Psalm were looking for snacks which they later bought. The pictures obtained by the Daily Mail did not show North West and Bianca Censori.
Following his decision to reunite with his kids in Japan, an insider told Daily Mail that Kanye West’s refusal to go home to the US is not because he is avoiding his parental duties. But rather because of the numerous lawsuits including being dragged with Diddy sexual offence’s case.
Per the Daily Mail Sources, “Kanye’s reasoning for not being [in Americal has nothing to do with his children and has everything to do with the multiple lawsuits that he is facing in the States.” Recall that his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta sued him for multiple offences and later updated the charges.
Another reason Kanye West is avoiding the US despite the Los Angeles fires is also tied to former America’s Next Top Model contestant Jennifer An lawsuit. According to her, the rapper choked her in an ‘X-rated’ manner on the set of a music video in 2010. The third lawsuit is a security employee who he dismissed unlawfully without pay.
Another lawsuit also involves the case of the former project manager of his Malibu home in 2023, alleging, among other things and the stint with disgraced rapper Sean Diddy Combs. Following his arrest, several fans has been wondering if Kanye West is remotely involved in the case.

Per Daily Mail sources states that “With all this stuff with Diddy, Kanye is terrified.” The duo had maintained a friendship often partying together. Kanye West even presented Diddy with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards in 2022 . He said at the time: “I go to him for advice to this day. He inspired so many of my choices!”
However, things went sour between them after Kanye West’s White Lives Matter stunt. Although they fell out since then, it is safe to assume that Kanye may still be associated with him. It makes sense that he distanced himself like other celebrities.
