
Travis Kelce Finally Opens Up On 2025 Super Bowl Loss And Taylor Swift Backlash In New Heights Podcast
It’s been an emotional week for Travis Kelce and his beloved Taylor Swift after his team Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on the 2025 Superbowl. Recall that his team lost in a 44—22 score and that fans booed his girlfriend for no just cause.
The 2025 Superbowl was truly chaotic. From Donald Trump’s attendance, Taylor getting booed, Serena Williams dissing Drake, Kendrick Lamar dissing Drake and the issue with Swifties. Swifties rose up to defend Travis and Taylor after Eagles player CJ Gardner dissed him via an Instagram post.
And Swifties got on the offensive giving fake reviews on his mom’s restaurant and reporting the restaurant to ICE. Now, The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother, Jason Kelce, reflected on Sunday’s big game on Wednesday’s episode of their jointly owned “New Heights” podcast.

Travis Kelce also revealed how he felt about the 2025 Superbowl loss. In his words, “Just wasn’t our day. Couldn’t find a lick of momentum. I’m kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field.” Travis also apologized to fans for the loss.
“I love my teammates, I love my coaches. Chiefs Kingdom, I’m sorry for how it ended. I have a beautiful life man. I wish I had made better decisions early on to help my guy Pat[rick Mahomes] out and help my team find that momentum and that confidence. But you know, I just have to tip my hat to the Eagles.”
Travis Kelce congratulating the Philadelphia Eagles shows he is a good sportsman despite the diss by Eagles CJ Gardner. And Taylor Swift will have to apply some TLC to get him to move on from the loss. And although he did not mention her it is safe to assume she was part of the loved ones he spoke about.

“I have loved ones, I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything I do and they were all there, cheering me on and hoping for the best on Sunday,” Travis Kelce shared on the Wednesday episode after the 2025 Superbowl loss. Taylor was joined by her brother Austin Swift, and her father, Scott Swift at her booth.
Also Ice Spice, Alana Haim, Este Haim and Ashley Avignone was spotted sitting alongside her. Travis kelce’s family made up of his mum, Donna Kelce, dad, Ed Kelce, and brother were also in the suite as well and he joined them after the match.
